Lacy Leaves and Wafer Paper Florals

I've always loved Wafer Paper as a medium for my cakes. They've become a huge trend in the cake industry right now. Once you figure out how to work with them (a bit fickle when in contact with moisture)- using the right adhesives, proper handling, and cutting techniques, the possibilities are endless!

I hand-cut/"Exacto'd" each Wafer Paper leaf with an organic, mosaic-like pattern. I wanted to give it a modern, lacey and geometric effect. I made an arrangement of loosely open Ranunculus, Pom Poms and a ginourmous/ruffly Peony all out of Wafer Paper.
