Preparation Time: 10 min.
Baking Time: 30 min.
Total Preparation and Baking Time : 40 min.
Yield: 12-16 servings
Ingredients:
1 cup 52%-62% semisweet, bittersweet, and/or dark chocolate (I love mixing them, depending on what I have in the pantry)
1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar or Muscovado (or half brown sugar and half white sugar)
3 eggs
1 tsp. best quality vanilla extract
1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp. instant coffee powder
1/4 tsp. salt
Directions:
In a small saucepan, melt butter and cook until golden brown bits appear. Turn off the heat, and pour into a bowl of chocolate, allow the residual heat to melt it and mix until smooth.
Mix brown instant espresso powder, sugar, eggs and vanilla extract for at least 3 minutes until light, foamy, and sugar is dissolved.
Add ganache (chocolate and butter mixture) to the foamy egg mixture and mix until well combined.
Add flour, cocoa powder, salt, and gently fold with a rubber spatula until combined. Avoid over mixing.
Pour into a square or rectangle pan, top with nuts and/or chocolate and bake at 175C or 350F for at least 25-30 minutes.
Remove the brownies from the oven and lightly press down to nudge more cracks on the top layer of the brownies (this is optional, but I like it to look more crackly.) Allow to cool and cut into even pieces. Serve and enjoy!

Starting a new year with positive plans can be motivating, especially when local food choices and community connections are part of the journey. I think small, realistic habits are easier to maintain than trying to change everything at once. That lesson also applies to long research projects. I explored professional PhD dissertation writing guidance to understand how steady planning and clear milestones can help keep academic writing manageable.
The balance between ingredients, preparation steps, and baking time demonstrates how several factors need to work together to achieve the intended outcome. PMBOK knowledge areas provide a comparable framework for considering different project requirements in an organised way. This was a great read from start to finish. I especially enjoyed the way you highlighted the details that make the subject interesting and relatable. I’ve always liked clothing inspired by memorable TV characters, and Vanson Jackets has some nice options in that area. The Beth Dutton Yellowstone Blue Coat is one piece that immediately caught my eye for its sophisticated and confident style.
