Tired of basic hot dogs 'n' Pigs in a Blanket at backyard BBQs'? These lil' piggies just got an upgrade! Super cheesy two-cheese blend of Parm, Sharp Cheddar, sweetness from honey, and spicy Kielbasa snuggled in a flaky biscuit. They're ridiculoulsy easy to make and meet your foodie fix at the same time!
Ingredients:
2 cans (10 ct.) biscuit dough
1 12oz. coil of spicy full-cooked Kielbasa Sausage (If spicy's not your thing, then you can totally use smoked or any other type of sausage)
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1/2 cup of grated sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup of chopped green onions
honey
mayo
cracked black pepper
Directions:
Grease a muffin/cupcake pan with cooking spray and line the bottom of each cavity with 1 biscuit dough portion.
Cut 2" pieces of sausage on a bias on one end and flat on the other.
Spread a tsp. of mayo on each biscuit dough portion and sprinkle a combination of the two cheeses along with the green onions. Drizzle with honey and season with black pepper.
Insert the sausage into each biscuit, making sure it stands up and touches the bottom. Sprinkle with more cheese and parm.
Bake at 350 F. until biscuits are golden brown and fully baked. You can char the sausage and crisp up the parm by placing it under the broiler for less than a minute.
Serve with honey mustard and ketchup! Nom!
