Butterscotch Caramel Mug Cake

This recipe kind of makes me want to do college all over again (the right way)! This Butterscotch Caramel Mug Cake is also perfect and ridiculously comforting to have on movie nights 'n' chill. It's my go-to recipe to satisfy my sweet tooth on the fly!

Butterscotch Caramel Mug Cake

  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

  • A smidge of salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/4 cup milk

  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  • 1 tbsp. butterscotch chips

  • 2 tbsp. Caramel Sauce

Directions:

1. In an 8-ounce mug, (most mugs are around 8oz.) combine the flour, sugar, salt and baking powder. Then add the oil, milk, vanilla. Mix until lumps are gone. Drizzle caramel sauce into the center and add butterscotch chips.

2. Microwave for 90 seconds on high. Serve warm with whipped cream or a la mode with ice cream!
